Supporting the Development of the Next Generation

Action Plan Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children

With the aim of creating a workplace environment where employees can balance work and child-rearing, and where all employees can work comfortably, the Group has formulated an action plan. This plan includes setting a target childcare leave utilization rate, considering measures to encourage employees to actively participate in childcare and elderly care, and providing work experience and internships for the young generation.

Initiatives

Promoting Childcare Leave

We strive to enhance our employee benefit system to accommodate changing life stages. Our employee return-to-work rate after childbirth and childcare is 100%, and we have created an environment and system that allows employees to continue working without having to quit their jobs for childbirth or childcare.

School Lectures and Workplace Experience

As part of career education for junior high school students, we visit junior high schools to convey the value of working for a company and host workplace experience programs at our company. During workplace experience programs, students experience a variety of tasks depending on the department they are in.
As part of their inquiry-based learning program at a high school in Iida, Nagano Prefecture, we offer opportunities for students to experience the appeal of specialized fields in science and engineering. We also cooperate with high school students in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, in a local business discovery program, providing them with opportunities to consider the appeal of working and living in their hometown.
