"Smartcam" is a generic term used to refer to digital converters equipped
with a resolver or an optical encoder as a sensor.
It includes 1-turn types, multi-turn types and single/multi turn exchangeable
types.
Over the past 70 years, we have been engaged in research, development, and manufacture of FA equipment such as Synchro, Resolver, Gyro, and so on.
Based on long-standing experience and a wealth of know-how
accumulated through the production of control equipment for
steel plants and water processing, we proudly propose a smart
position detecting system" Smartcam".
In addition to the conventional systems, Smartcam has new lineups
equipped with absolute encoders for higher accuracy and resolution.
We recommend Smartcam, with confidence, as the right position
detector that ensures you high reliability, safety, and labor efficiency.
Smart Cam is a programmable Electronic Cam signal output unit,
which replaces conventional mechanical cam switching system or pulse detecting units, used for general position control of machines.
Sensor unit is a brushless resolver, Smartsyn, known as an
environmentally reliable long-life unit. The sine/cosine analog signal
proportional to the shaft rotation is converted to digital angle data
via R/D converter incorporated in the control unit.
Programmable On/Off signals (Cam signals), along with position data
in pure binary or BCD, are output via photocoupler interfaces.
A handy terminal or a PC (Windows) can be used for a display
monitor and a programming interface.
A variety of resolver units are available at your option, e.g. small
built-in type, rugged enclosed type, IP67 waterproof type, etc.
