Smart Cam uses a linear sensor or rotary sensor (resolver) as its sensor and converts the signals from it into various outputs.
The linear sensor enables automatic measurement of thickness, distortion, etc. by electric pick tests in place of the conventional mechanical pick tests.
The rotary sensor, which produces an ON/OFF signal at the preset position, realizes the same function as the conventional mechanical cam.
