In March1938,Hiroichi Hagimoto founded Tamagawa Seiki Company near the Tama River in Tokyo.In 1942,he set up the Iida plant in the Ina Valley of Nagano Prefecture,which was not only the founder's birthplace but also was a locality known for its clean air and water and diligent work force.That was a move in anticipation of the future development of precision industry in this area.
Our product lines include instrument motors and precision tapping machines,both the products from the start,and various others having been developed to meet the needs of the times.After a number of successful technological developments,our business today extends even to aviation and space equipment and automatic control equipment.
With the conception that the 21st century is the century to save the earth, we, surrounded with rich nature, will keep on advancing toward the development and manufacture of high quality value-added products based on the ideas of harmony with nature and respect for life.

In 1991. as part of our efforts to reinforce our production capabilities, we incorporated Hachinohe Tamagawa Co., Ltd., which is assigned to develop, design and manufacture FA robots and units and other high-tech products.
In 1994,our head office was moved from Tokyo to Iida to join its plant. Now under the catchword of "Tamagawa", which is a combination of motor technology, electronic circuit technology, precision machinery technology, and software technology, we are developing a wide array of original products.
Maximizing the advantages of our Tamagawa, we will keep on supplying reliable products to the users all around the world. Also, using our "superior development, marketing and manufacturing capabilities", we will flexibly respond to the needs of our customers.And to offer our superior quality, performance and low cost, our multi-information system is connected functionally with our sales companies Tamagawa Higashi Hanbai, Tamagawa Nishi Hanbai and Tamagawa Trading.
With a view to reinforcing our production capabilities and in the pursuit of Customer Satisfaction, we will never cease our advance toward the brighter future, constantly analyzing, inspecting and improving our production systems and technique.
