In 1944, Hiroichi Hagimoto, Tamagawa Seiki’s founder, established the Iida Plant with a view to helping revitalize the economy of his birthplace. Since the transfer in 1994 of the company’s headquarters from the Shin-Kamata area of Tokyo, the facility has served as Tamagawa Seiki’s headquarters and primary manufacturing plant.
